collaborations that fuel creativity

Bloomerang was
founded on the belief that
what we send out, we get back.

Our thoughts, words and actions matter. What we choose to send out, positive or negative, ripples out and shapes our world.

Watch how a Bloomerang begins…

Collaboration is at our core.

We believe that by bringing your community together to work collaboratively, we can harness the transformative power of art and create connections that drives measurable results.

Community-based art is not just about creating beautiful pieces; it's about fostering connections, inspiring dialogue, and strengthening communities. It encapsulates the essence of human expression and provides a platform for diverse voices to be heard.

  • In the field of environmental graphic design (EGD), the primary goal is to craft environments that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, all while prioritizing the improvement of the user's experience and leaving a lasting impact.

Whether the task involves simplifying navigation within intricate structures or establishing an unforgettable brand encounter, EGD and placemaking stand as critical influencers in molding how individuals engage with and interpret physical spaces.

  • Bloomerang workshops invite your community to join together to create custom installations that energize your streetscapes and office interiors with color and vitality — lasting reminders that when it comes to results, we’re all working toward something bigger than any one of us alone can produce.

TRADITIONAL WORKSHOPS are ideal for camps, schools and groups that want a consistent, collaborative in-depth experience focused on their understood goal.

Workshops can be held in a single day or over the course of several days or weeks to give everyone a chance to participate.

DROP-IN EVENTS fit everyone's schedule and allow participants to make their marks in their own time.

Fun, flexible and scalable, these events are perfect for festivals, conventions, staff retreats and customer/employee appreciation days.

  • I start by learning about you and your community, whether that community is your business, organization or not-for profit.

Together, we invite your community members to add their expressive 'marks' to a collaborative art piece.

I’ll take those group artworks through a transformative process, working with them like a musician sampling sounds to create something new.

I’m looking to uncover a reflection of who you are together and make it visible in new ways.

Working together with other professionals (architects, interior designers, fabricators and installers) a seamless integration into the built environment is ensured.

  • The best results happen when working directly with your architect, interior designer or development team at the outset to tailor the project to your community’s physical space.

Everything we create is one-of-a-kind. It won’t look like anything else produced by any other entity, because the mix of your community is unique.

  • Scale is no problem so THINK BIG. Our designs can be adapted to just about anything.

Architectural glass, mosiac tiles, walls, elevator doors, exterior and interior signage, stairs, column wraps, vehicle wraps, wallpaper, upholstery fabric and more. Let your imagination run wild!

    Throw a Bloomerang,
    you’ll love what comes back>>

Here’s what our clients say

  • "Our website launch was a major success with new customers coming in within a week of launch. Without Carol’s work on our brand and website, I don't think we would have become the multimillion-dollar company we are today. Good design is worth the investment."

Rebecca Bullene, Co-founder, Greenery NYC / Greenery Unlimited
    *****

  • "The huge column wraps for our main lobby are beautiful works of art that have been literally and figuratively touched by so many community members. The work is vibrant and full of life, celebrating 25 years of creative partnership between the Lied Center and Lawrence Public Schools."

Anthea Scouffas, Engagement/Education Director, Lied Center of Kansas
    *****

  • "We had an idea of what it was going to be like when it was finished but seeing the real thing…it’s so much better!"

—Julie Rose-Weston, Cordley Elementary Art Teacher

  • "We needed a branding expert to help us change the paradigm of nice, but stuffy to exciting and resort-like. Our target audience for the dynamic new independent living villas we'd designed was a younger, affluent audience. Carol took our brand and flipped it on its head with a new visual strategy to attract residents in the 60 to 70 age category. We exceeded our goals, selling all villas before construction was complete."

Claudia Larkin, former COO, Brewster Place
    *****

  • "The art integration workshops Carol brought to Quincy beautifully illustrate how the arts can plant seeds of awareness, innovation and creativity in the classroom with real-world applications. The new signage and branding for our school grew out of challenging second-graders to reframe how they see themselves, each other, and their community. Together, they have created a positive ripple of energy that's affecting the entire school."

Ana Diaz, Art Teacher, Quincy Elementary School
    *****

  • "It looks like me, but it feels like me. WOW!"

Theodore L. Dorpat, Psychiatrist and Author
    *****

  • “The glass installation and resulting artwork are simply transformative. The renovations by Architect One were quite innovative, but once the artwork was unveiled, we knew the project was complete. There’s a renewed energy now at Brewster.”

David Beck, former CEO, Brewster Place
    *****

  • Carol has that unique ability to listen and understand your vision. She's able to visually articulate the essence of a project, bringing it to life and imbuing it with immediacy.
